Perfect multi-purpose camp axe! This is my tool of choice in the woods. It is compact, easy to use, lightweight (just over 1 lb), but heavy enough to get the job done. The hammer poll on the back is useful in more ways than you can imagine in camp. This is very similar to the axe that Horace Kephart recommends. Handle length is just over 14". Head from blade to hammer poll is 4 5/8". These are old stock, so expect some surface rust and handle scratches. Leave the patina look, or polish as you see fit!
